Turning Hockey Goals Into Smiles
This playoff season, every goal scored by Mats Zuccarello comes with a special gift. Dr. Eva Maestre and Dr. Robert Peracchia will donate orthodontic treatment and dental services to kids in need, turning hockey goals into brighter smiles.
They’ve joined forces with Smiles Change Lives, a charity dedicated to boosting confidence and oral health for children whose families can’t afford braces. The program pairs orthodontists with families who qualify, but in cities like New York, not enough families are applying. Clinics such as West End Avenue, along with many others across the U.S. and Canada, are ready to help. By spreading the word—whether by email or social media—you can connect families to this opportunity.
Dr. Eva and Dr. Peracchia, a husband-and-wife duo and loyal Rangers season ticket holders, came up with this creative way to support their community while celebrating their team. For every Zuccarello playoff goal, they’ll cover up to $10,000 worth of braces and care for one child. With three kids of their own and a love for the game, they’re cheering for goals that will change lives.
