Dr. Sumi Jampana

Dr. Sumi Jampana is a board-certified general dentist with over a decade of experience providing comprehensive dental care. A Texas native, Dr. Jampana earned a Master of Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Oral Biology from Rutgers University before crossing the river to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University. He went on to complete his residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and has continued to pursue rigorous advanced training to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry, including full-mouth restorative and functional dentistry at the Dawson Academy, advanced clear aligner therapy through Molis Coaching, and conservative biomimetic restoration techniques at the BAARD Institute.

Dr. Jampana's practice is built on a foundation of patient education, preventive care, and functional health. He prides himself on treating every patient with ethical care, compassion, and practicality.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jampana has lived in Murray Hill for 15 years with his husband, Ryan, their dog, Cooper, and their cat, Jackie O (the first lady of the house). He and Ryan spend their free time exploring live theater, traveling, and discovering new restaurants, both here in the city and around the world.
